A live transcript of both sides
Call Transcriber listens to two things on your PC: your microphone (Me) and the sound of the call coming out of your speakers or headset (Them). Each side is transcribed separately, so every line is labelled with the right person and a timestamp.
- Words appear while people speak, then settle into clean sentences when they pause.
- Type the other person's name once and "Them" becomes "Sarah" everywhere: in the transcript, copies and exports.
- On speakerphone, the echo of the other person picked up by your microphone is removed automatically.
- Chat bubbles or a compact list; light, dark or matching Windows; adjustable text size.
Copy and paste while you talk
The bottom bar has one-click buttons for the things you actually need on a call, and the same actions work as global shortcuts from any app.

Floating captions over your call
When a call starts, a see-through caption window floats on top of Zoom, Teams, Google Meet or WhatsApp with the latest lines, so you can follow and reuse what was said without switching windows.
- Up to three copy buttons of your choice right on the captions: the other person's last message, the last 10 or 20 lines, the whole conversation and more.
- Make it yours: dark, light, midnight blue, high contrast or your own colours, transparency, text size, names and times, with a live preview in Settings.
- Let clicks pass through to the window underneath, or show and hide it with Ctrl+Alt+O.

Automatic call detection
Notices when Zoom, Teams, Meet, WhatsApp, Skype, Discord, Telegram, Slack, Webex or Phone Link starts a call and stops when you hang up. You can also choose "ask me first" or manual only.
Offline speech recognition
The speech model runs on your CPU: in our tests about 10 times faster than real time on an ordinary laptop, with 95.5% of words right on clean English speech.
No bot joins the meeting
Nothing is added to the call, nobody gets an invite, and the host doesn't need to turn on captions.
Call history and search
Every call is saved automatically. Rename calls, add notes, and search across everything that was said.
Export
Save a call as plain text, Markdown, JSON or SRT subtitles, or copy any part to the clipboard.
Floating captions
A see-through caption window stays on top of your call app with the latest lines and one-click copy. Or keep the main window on top in a compact size.
English first, more optional
English works offline. Hindi is available with Whisper models, or bring your own Deepgram cloud key in the advanced settings.
Gentle on your privacy
No tracking in the app. Logs never contain what was said. Saving audio is off unless you turn it on.

Every call, saved and searchable
Calls are saved to your PC as they happen, so nothing is lost if the app or your PC closes. Find any call by the person's name, your notes, or a word that was said, then copy it, export it, or delete it.
- Call name, "with" and notes for every call.
