Support calls are full of details that are easy to mishear

A customer reads out a 12-character order ID over a bad line. Another describes an error message they see on screen. A third gives you a new delivery address. Every one of these has to end up in a ticket, correctly, while you keep the conversation going and look things up.

Call Transcriber writes down both sides of the call as it happens. When the customer has said it, it's already text: copy it and paste it where it needs to go.

A typical support call with Call Transcriber

  1. The call starts in your softphone, Teams, Zoom or WhatsApp. Transcription starts by itself (add your softphone's .exe in Settings if it isn't detected).
  2. The customer explains the problem. Press Ctrl+Alt+T and paste their description into the ticket body in their own words.
  3. They read out the order number. Copy their last message again and paste it into the order field, or select just that line in the transcript.
  4. You agree on a solution. Copy the last 5 lines into the internal note so the next agent knows exactly what was promised.
  5. After the call, the full transcript is saved in your call history in case you need to check something later.

Why support teams like it

  • Fewer errors: details are copied, not retyped.
  • Shorter calls: fewer "can you repeat that" moments and less silence while you type.
  • Better tickets: the customer's own description is more useful to engineering than a paraphrase.
  • Works with any help desk: Zendesk, Freshdesk, ServiceNow, Jira or a spreadsheet; it's just the clipboard.
  • Private: calls are transcribed offline on the agent's PC. No customer audio is uploaded by the app.

Speakerphone or headset? Both work. With a headset the transcript is cleanest; on speakers, the echo of the customer's voice in your microphone is removed automatically.
