For sales teams and founders

Sales call transcription with live notes for your CRM

Hear the buyer, not your keyboard. Call Transcriber writes down your discovery calls and demos as they happen, so you can paste the prospect's exact words into Salesforce, HubSpot or your follow-up email while the call is still running.

  • No bot joins the call
  • Copy while you talk
  • Offline and private

The problem with typing notes on sales calls

The most important things a prospect says, their pain, their budget, their timeline, the names of the other people involved, come out in the middle of a conversation. If you type, you miss the follow-up question. If you don't, you reconstruct it from memory afterwards and your CRM ends up with "interested, call back next week".

Recording tools and meeting bots help with coaching later, but many buyers don't like a bot showing up in the call, and none of that helps you write the next email five minutes after you hang up.

How reps use Call Transcriber

  1. Discovery: when the prospect explains the problem, press Ctrl+Alt+T to copy their last message and paste it into the "pain" field of the opportunity, word for word.
  2. Qualification: budget, authority and timeline come up naturally. Copy the last 5 lines and drop them into your notes; the timestamps show when it was said.
  3. Objections: capture the exact wording of an objection so you can answer it properly, or share it with your manager in Slack while the call goes on.
  4. Next steps: before you hang up, copy the last few lines with the agreed next steps and paste them into your follow-up email draft. Send it while the buyer still remembers the call.
  5. After the call: "Copy all" gives you the full conversation to paste into your CRM or an AI assistant for a summary, and the call stays in your searchable history.
Use the customer's own words in your follow-up. It shows you listened, and it's the fastest way to write a good recap.

Why it works for sales

  • No bot in the call. Nothing joins your Zoom, Teams or Meet call, so the conversation stays natural.
  • Works with every tool. It's just your clipboard: any CRM, any sales engagement tool, any email client.
  • Their words, separately. Set the filter to "Only Them" to copy just what the prospect said.
  • Private. Calls are transcribed offline on your laptop; nothing is uploaded to a third-party server.
  • Fast enough to keep up. Text appears within a second or two, so you can copy right after a sentence ends.

A note on consent

In many places you must tell the other person, or get their consent, before you record or transcribe a call. A simple "I take live notes with a transcription tool so I don't miss anything, is that OK?" at the start of the call works well. Read our consent guide for more.
