Live interview transcription for recruiters
Give candidates your full attention and still have their exact answers for the scorecard. Call Transcriber transcribes video interviews on Zoom, Teams and Google Meet live on your PC, with no bot in the interview.
We need the integration live before the 14th of next month.
Understood. Which systems does it have to connect to?
Salesforce and our billing tool. Budget is approved up to 18,500 dollars.
Better interviews when you stop typing
Candidates notice when an interviewer is typing instead of listening. But without notes, scorecards get written from memory, and memory favours the last thing said and the candidate who talked most confidently, not necessarily the best answers.
A live transcript solves both: you listen, and the answers are written down for you. When a candidate gives a strong (or worrying) answer, select it in the transcript or copy the last few lines into your scorecard on the spot.
How recruiters use it
- Structured interviews: after each question, copy the candidate's answer into the matching field of your scorecard or ATS.
- Fair comparisons: quote what each candidate actually said when you discuss them with the hiring team.
- Technical screens: capture names of tools, versions and numbers accurately.
- Panel interviews: one interviewer runs the conversation while the transcript keeps the record.
- Follow-ups: search your call history for a candidate's name to find what they said weeks ago.
Tell candidates
Being open builds trust. Let candidates know at the start that you use a live transcription tool for notes and that it stays on your computer. In many places this is also a legal requirement; see our consent guide.
Private by design
Interview content is sensitive. Call Transcriber recognises speech offline on your PC, saves transcripts as files you control, and doesn't record audio unless you switch that on. You can delete any interview from the history at any time.
